Originally from Dayton, Ohio ("Birth Place of Aviation")

- "Love of flying instilled by my Dad, Air Force Museum was a 2nd home"
- "I'd run outside every time I heard an airplane"
- "Balsa wood airplanes, model rockets, and radio controlled airplanes filled my time"
- "As a kid, I watched Bob Hoover, Duane Cole, Art Scholl, Charlie Hillard, & Harold
Johnson during the Dayton Air Show."

Learned to fly in 1984 during Junior year of High School

- "I learned to fly in 7ECA Citabrias @ Moraine Airpark in Dayton.  My first lesson
was during Easter break in 1984"

Initial Aerobatic lesson was in a Super Decathlon during High School
- "I still remember my first time upside down like it was yesterday"

Attended college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach

- Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Engineering Technology (along with A.F. ROTC)
- "Spent college summers back in Dayton at Moraine Airpark pumping gas, cleaning
wind shields, mowing the field, and flying everything I could"

Commissioned in Active Duty Air Force from A.F. ROTC in Aug 89

- Completed Air Force pilot training in April 1991 (T-37s /T-38s)

Served ten years in the Active Duty Air Force

- after pilot training all assignments were flying F-15Cs

Now a member of the Florida Air National Guard @ Jacksonville IAP

- 8+ years as an Active Duty (full time) member of the Florida Air National Guard
flying F-15As & Cs

Over 5200 Hrs flying time in more than 4400 sorties during last 24 years

- Time in more than 40 different types of Aircraft
- 575 Hrs in Super Decathlons ("Blue has been in the family since Mar 02")
- 3200 Hrs in the F-15 Eagle / F-15 Instructor Pilot
